Semi and Detached Household removals
If you are moving from a three or four bedroom detached, semi-detached or terraced house with furniture in every room within 25 miles and you want to ensure that everything is done professionally and efficiently then we would usually recommend using at team of between three and five removers and at least a 7.5 tonne specialised removal vehicle for the removal and delivery service.
The removal and delivery itself can usually be completed over long day if everything is already packed and ready to go when the removal team arrives but if you plan on self packing or are part of a chain and have to be out of your property by a certain time on completion day then in order to ensure everything goes to schedule then we would recommend that you allow a minimum of two days to prepare and complete the move and up to three days if you also require a professional pre-packing service.
If you require a removal and delivery service only then the first day would be spent dismantling furniture, packing fragile items properly, wrapping pictures etc, carrying out handyman services and loading the removal vehicle with most of the packed cartons and non-essential items, The second day would be spent plastic wrapping soft furnishings and mattresses, dismantling beds, unplumbing washing machines and dishwashers, wrapping tvs and computer screens and completion of loading the removal vehicles usually by Midday on the removal date, the contents of the property will then be delivered to your new property on a room to room basis, all goods will be re-assembled where necessary and washing machines and dishwashers will be plumbed in, the removal team will also remove all the packing debris and leave your new property in a tidy condition, please allow one additional day if you require our complete packing service
Unlike a lot of removal companies we will wrap and protect the furniture and soft furnishings before moving with furniture blankets, heavy plastic and paper blankets so you can be assured that your belongings will arrive at your new property in the condition they left, if you are simply booking a removal company based on the cost and not on the service you expect to receive then we wont be able to compete for your business on price but if you require a professional and fully insured removal service then you will find that our rates are very competitive.
