Storage Services Semi and Detached Houses
As we have our own storage warehouses we can supply storage services either short term or long term to store some or all of the contents of your house, we can arrange this at very short notice, we supply a safe and secure storage service to store your goods for as long as you need, we provide containerised storage and mainly use purpose built wooden storage containers. Each storage container is 280 cubic foot or 8 cubic meters in size, please see the examples below.

You would usually need between four and six containers to store a fully furnished 3 bed house and up to 6 containers for a four bedroom house, this of course depends on the amount of furniture etc but is a very accurate indication based on our extensive experience.
Our Storage charges are based on the amount of containers required and length of time in store, we usually give a very good discount off our removal charges if you are using our storage facilities and unlike self storage companies we provide furniture protection blankets, heavy plastic for mattresses and sofas free of charge and also unlike the self storage companies we provide the labour to load the containers and we don't charge extra for locks, insurance or use of trolleys, we don't believe in hidden extras.
The standard storage charges start from £15 plus vat (£17.63) per container per week, which includes up to £2500 insurance per container, (inventory required), but we usually reduce this charge on a pro rata basis depending on the number of containers required and the length of storage time required, number of containers etc.
